PREPARATION FOR SCHOOL(Poem by Philomena N. Okeke)

As I woke up in the morning..

Said my prayer in the morning.

I make my place of sleep called BED.

I wash my face and brush my teeth.

I ate my cereal ,eggs,and some vegetables.

I do not like hot my meals and vegetables.

But mom insisted .

I do not like it when she insist.

She is my mom .

I love my mom.

I clean the dishes and the kitchen.

I am the only child.

They should demand less.

They refused to demand less.

I became comfortable with it.

I go to school focused.

I got to remain focused.

Mom want me to remember what I learned.

I am ready to share what I learned.

Am I a good student?

I want to be a doctor when I grow up.

Be happy as a child mom and

Dad love you.

And God love you too.
