Check lab results,notify the doctor immediately for critical lab values.
Do your patients need blood transfusion,electrolyte replacement?.
Call and notify the doctor for change in condition. Prepare patient for surgery,preoperative checklist, preoperative evaluation, educate patient and perform CHG bath,use of incentive spirometry and deep breathing. The list goes on.Thank God is 24/7 service and there is always continuity of care.
