Pregnancy Induced Hypertension:Preeclampsia is depicted by the start of acute hypertension after twenty four weeks of pregnancy. Treatment for preeclampsia are to prevent the pregnant patient from worrisome so that it will not lead to placenta abruption. Encourage Bedrest ,the wellbeing of the patient and baby are very important. Also encourage patient to maintain normal activities at home.
Malignant Hypertension also known as Hypertension Emergency. Can simply be defined as when severe Hypertension with diastolic greater than 120mmHg is accompanied by signs of organ damage the brain, kidney or the cardiovascular system.And patient may be with severe headaches, blurred vision, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident . Be careful with Hypertension Emergency because it can affect the organs of the body.Medications use to treat Hypertension are diuretics such lasix,thiazide derivatives, vasodilator such as prazosin and hydralazine,ace inhibitors. And patients are advised to decrease sodium intake, decrease high fat diet, loss weight and some bedrest when feeling uncomfortable, dizziness or fatigue.
