Physical therapist and Occupational therapist evaluation and re- evaluation completed. Progress of treatment documented. Patient and family education on mobility, gait training and range of motion documented by Physical therapist. Physical therapist educated patient and family on nonweight bearing to the right lower extremity x3months.Follow up with doctor Lovegod Undertree,MD in three months.They demonstrated understanding. Patient and family are following fall prevention direction.
Fall precautions protocol during hospitalization:
Alertness.( armband,door,side rails,patient chart)
Bed in low position.
Call light within reach.
Non-slip footwear.
Assist patient with mobility, clear the bedside. Assist with activities of daily living.
