HYPERGLYCEMIA.(HIGH BLOOD SUGAR)

The Signs and Symptoms will start gradually and might lead to Diabetic Coma. Signs and Symptoms of Hyperglycemia are:

Increase in thirst.

Increase in urinating.

Blurred Vision, drowsiness.

Headache.

Fatigue.

Decreased in wound healing.

Later Signs and Symptoms are:

Nausea/Vomiting.

Dry mouth.

Abdominal pain.

Confusion.

Weakness.

Confusion.

Coma.

Causes of Hyperglycemia are:

Eat too much food with little insulin or diabetes medications.

Unable to produce enough insulin the sugar from the food stays in the blood instead of going to the cells.

Stress or Sickness.

Little insulin.

Solutions:

>You need insulin to force the sugar into your cells so that you can feel better or really good.

> If your blood sugar remains high like over 200mg/dl you might want to call your doctor.

>If your doctor is on vacation, you might want to go to emergency room or urgent care.

Diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death in the United States of America.

Tips to Stay healthy.

Knowledge is power.

Get educated and support that you need.

Eat a balanced meal three times a day.

Be proactive.

Manage your blood sugar well.

Control your weight.

Manage your sick days well.

Prevent Diabetes complications.

Don’t let your diabetes to become medical emergency.
