1.Must be physically fit.
2.Be above age 16years.
3.Have GED or High School Diploma.
4.Must pass the Criminal background check.
5. Pass the State Examination.
The Programs:
The program consist of Theory and clinical hours. ( Theory 60hours.Clinical 100hours) Some Nursing Assistant Program can range from 8weeks to 13weeks.
Nursing Assistant Program that is approved by the department of Public Health entails completion of competency Evaluation Programs.
Functions of Certified Nursing Assistant are. 1.Bathing dressing and grooming the patients, it can be from minimally assistance to total bedbath/ Assistant.
2.Assist patient with feeding. Don’t be forceful.
3.Record the intake and output.
4. Document all the care provided.
5.Run some errands when needed by the registered nurses,manager ,supervisor, patients and families.
6. Help patient and families to understand instructions given by the nurses.
7. Help in patient interpretations when needed and no blue phone available.

Work in Nursing Home.

Convalescent homes.
Hospitals, Medical Clinics,Private and Public sectors.
