WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF HYPERGLYCEMIA?.

Hyperglycemia is high blood sugar and it usually occurs when you skipped insulin, diabetes medication, undiagnosed diabetes,illness or stress.Some signs and symptoms are as follows:

Hypotension.

Headache.

Slow wound healing.

Drowsiness.

Weakness or Tiredness.

Stupor.

Tachycardia.

Dry Skin .

Dry mucous membranes.

Elevated temperature.

Polyuria-Polydipsia- Polyphagia.

Kussmaul Respiration. (rapid and deep)

Fruity odd breath.

Unintentional weight loss.

Blurred vision.

Recurrent infection.

Coma-Diabetes Ketoacidosis. (Can lead to complications and possible death)

If your blood sugar are higher than usual for three days call your healthcare provider.Follow your doctor orders.
