WISDOM.
In that bucket list one thing that gets better with age is wisdom.With age you become wiser, more knowledgeable, full of experiences and you become the embodiment of wisdom with good judgment. Intelligence increase and learning will continue throughout life.The ability to reason and abstract thoughts remain intact especially on familiar experiences and situations. You simply hit the nail on the head all the time .
Have you ever watch Judge Judy speak?.She speaks with authority because with age and experience she is wiser and smarter due to her knowledge and experiences as a judge.
SKIN.Due to age wrinkles and sagging skin will develop due to decreased skin elasticity. Skin dryness is not uncommon. Baldness becomes common in men.Women will experience thinning of hair.Do not allow any of that to πΊ discourage you. Age is noble, is royalty because it is not everyone will get there.Invest well so that you can manage and enjoy yourself. You are ready to go π surfing, dancing, you have your dancing shoes whatever you have is fine.Are you ready to get down. Age can be a number for you.
ISOLATION
Isolation is common with age because of deaths. The death of husband or wife , death of relatives or parents. As you age number of friends reduced because you know better. When one spouse is sick or die,so many adjustments has to be made in order to cope with the situation.
STAGNATE. This means inactive, immobile,slow .Stagnate is due to drecrease movement, retirement.Your movement has become limited.You have to get yourself involve in activities in the church,groups to keep yourself busy.
PHYSICAL CHANGE. Impairment can be related to illness or surgery. Some older adults will be able to walk while some will use walker ,cane or other assisting device.The effects of surgery ,illness or medications will effect strength and movement.Decrease in physical condition leads to fragile problems and the body inability to maintain homeostasis. Even though the older adults can do things that middle age adults are doing they should have more periods of rest in between activities.
NUTRITION. Change in nutrition, decreased fluid intake and abnormal electrolytes may lead to decrease strength and increase in fatigue.The digestive juices will continue to decrease as well as nutrients absorption. Malnutrition and anemia will take over but can be managed. Listen and comply with your healthcare professionals. Common complaint are indigestion and constipation due to decreased muscle tone and decreased peristalsis.
There are solutions to these problems which include increase daily fiber intake , take medication as directed by your doctor, exercise as little as you can.Have your routine check up.Manage yourself well.
COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT. Some changes in cardiac output,lung changes,and also degenerative changes in musculoskeletal system will affect the ability to have normal functioning. Processing information and reaction time will increase and that can be seen in delays in responding to situations.
FINANCIAL STABILITY. The car is paid off and the house is paid. You now pay for property taxes, feeding and utilities. You can downsize, sell the house and move into a smaller house. Invest the money realized from the sale.Smile with that wrinkled and sagging face life is good.
SEX LIFE DECREASE.This is due to the loss of a partner or erectile dysfunction or prostate enlargement. Wisdom remains on increase and gets better with age.Speak to your healthcare professionals.
ADAPTATION. There is a decrease in the capacity to adapt to new environments ,changes and this will increase stress. Find yourself a hobby to manage your stress.

AGE.There is a serious believe and growing evidence that aging is not associated with disabilities and diseases even though almost 80% of older adults are living with one chronic disease or another. Other changes and challenges that older adults face are the neurological system become slow to stimuli, tooth decay and tooth loss. With time blood flow to the kidney will decrease as the cardiac output decreases. Decreased visual acuity (refers to as presbyopia) occurs. There will be decreased ability to adjust to darkness. Don’t worry you are doing great age is only a number. Check this guy’s out. Find a good hobbies to reduce stress. There are so many organ changes as you age and dementia can crib up on some older adults but not these guys.
