As I was doing my laundry I observed that the girl behind me is feeling very uncomfortable. I asked what is wrong with her she said that she is fine. So I kept quiet and continued with my laundry. But my inner mind is telling that she is not fine.I offered her food she refused, I gave her water she accepted the water and drank a little. I later asked her about school she told me that school is fine. I said great when are you taking your midterm examination she said next week.

But before next week she brought a letter to me which says that she needs to return to UK immediately. The story does not make sense at all. Why should she return to UK immediately. I called her mother who is a close friend of mine she did not respond. I called my uncle her dad he did not respond either.On Sunday she left for United Kingdom. On Monday I went to her school to explain the situation to her principal and teachers that there was family emergency so she has to go back to UK yesterday.But to my greatest surprise her teacher told me that she has not attended classes for three months.

I was dumbfounded and I rejected what the teacher said. I quickly filled complaint against the teacher and the school for inappropriate behavior towards the students under their care. And as soon as I filled my complaint rumors started to fly everywhere saying that Kate is pregnant.How can she be pregnant without me knowing about this?.I have seen her vomited twice in the past but I never suspected anything .She is connected to me because she is my uncle’s only child and by best friend’s daughter.I touched myself to seeing if I am asleep no I am not asleep. I am fully awake. I called my uncle to see if she arrived safely. My uncle did not understand what I was talking about and that means that Kate didn’t go to UK. So the search of Kate continued in USA and in UK.

We did not know that Kate actually traveled to Lagos Nigeria and not United Kingdom in an attempt to conceal her pregnancy from everyone. She was declared missing. Six months later she was found in Lagos Nigeria. She was actually pregnant. She gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.Her grandmother named him Emmanuel Chubuike ( God is our strength)Okoyee.My uncle asked his mother why she didn’t tell him that Kate is with her.She laughed and replied I didn’t tell you because you threatened to kill her if you see.I don’t want any stress on her in her condition. I am sorry that I failed you. Kate’s father named the boy “Onochie”.I am not sure of the meaning of Onochie.I believe that it is something good. Kate later called me to apologize to me for lying to me.I quickly forgave her .I am glad that she is alive. She wanted to hide her pregnancy from me,her friends and the school. She decided to continue her schooling in Lagos Nigeria and return to USA to attend college. At that time her son will be older.
