- Healthcare: The topics that are important to me that I would want to be more informed are healthcare, and climate changes globally . I have come to realize that if you do not have your health you got nothing. You have to be healthy and alive to make an impact in anything. The society need to be educated about public health hospitals, VA hospitals and military hospitals. They need to know that all of these are under the umbrella of government operated health care services. And that these hospitals are there for the public. The public health services is a federal health care agency that is under the control of the USA department of Health and human services. It covers wide range of facilities. The centers for disease control in Atlanta and the National Institutes of Health(NIH) are part of public healthcare system.
While CDC focuses on epidemiology, disease control, prevention, treatment of communicable diseases such as STDs(Chlamydia),NIH is involve in various health research activities such as the Nursing Research Centers. When people are sick they should be educated on what their insurance covers or does not cover.Sometimes sick people are sent home to be cared for at home.Caring for the sick at home is not new.But will your insurance cover the cost?. You need to ask questions.
Home health care is a good component of a continuity of care of which patients and families are taken care of in their home to maintain, restore and encourage maximization of independent activities while minimizing the effects of illness and disability.These information are very important so that families and love ones are not stranded when the need arises. Patient in Intensive care units and patients taken care of at home require highly trained professionals. The patients might need tube feeding, ngt,wound care,physical therapy, indwelling catheter.And specialized caregivers are trained to help with taking care of patients at their home.

The primary focus is to promote health, wellness and restoration of health. They ( health care providers) therefore collaborate to deliver individualized holistic care.Continuation of education on health promotions, prevention and treatment is very important. And the importance of understanding long-term care requirements cannot be overemphasized.

2.Climate Changes. Climate change is a serious concern to so many people. Recently there are rise in temperature across the globe.,unprecedented natural disaster globally. There are also migration issues that this Climate changes will cause due to fear. One popular question that concern so many is how will the carbon emissions be offset?.
What will be the effect of climate changes on us and the future generations?.
Will Agriculture in equatorial region continue since there will be globe warming?.
Or will human beings find a lasting solutions to climate changes ?.
