When I hear the word successful the first person that comes to mind is myself. Please hear me clearly ,I have not successfully kill a rat or set a trap to catch squirrel or an antelope or discover electricity. 😂 😂 But when you talk about “successful”, I see myself as the embodiment of being successful because I have moved from one successful story to another. I have worked very hard in my professional and personal life. The word no is not acceptable answer for me .I believe that if you are consistent, focus and persevere you can achieve anything that you set your mind to achieve. You simply don’t quit, you keep on working hard. Oxford Dictionary defines successful as having achieved popularity, profit or distinction. A successful actor, prosperous, affluent, victorious, triumphant .I see successful in different lenses successful marriage, successful business, successful employment and that is where so many of us come in.
Do I need to be Elon Musk, Bill Gate, Jeff Bezos,Oprah Winfrey, or any of the billionaires to consider myself successful?. The answer is capital NO. I have successfully graduated from high school, successfully graduated from college to become a teacher in my early 20s .And I have successfully graduated from nursing program from university of Southern California. I got a job working as a Registered nurse for many years.I have jobs and have retained jobs successfully for several years that is being successful.
You don’t need to be the 1% or 1.2% of the billionaires population to be successful. I have successfully graduated from masters degree in nursing program. I am a working progress and I will continue to do so.Whatever you are doing keep on doing it ,never give up,don’t be deceived by anyone. Be consistent, persistent, patient and focused.
