Several tests are ordered.Glucose is known to be the principal fuel of the body and we get it mainly from our diet and can also be produced by the body’s own mechanism. These tests are as follows:
1.Glycated Hemoglobin test known as A1C or HbA1C. The average blood sugar level is documented for three months.
2. Random plasma blood sugar test. That is blood sugar test is obtained randomly.
3. Fast blood sugar level .No food for eight hours before the test.It will evaluate the body’s ability to regulate glucose and gives information of any abnormalities.
4.Antibody test:These are antibodies are common with type 1diabetes.
