Mr Ebenezer Scrooge was a very difficult character.Born on February 7th 1786.He was a very angry bitter man who hated Christmas.He said that christmas is a humbug.He was a fictional character and was also a protagonist of Charles Dicken of 1843.He was a greedy ,stingy man and unwilling to spend money on anyone.
He was abandoned by his parents.
Is this why he hated everyone?.
He was known as a lonely old man who changed his wicked ways when the ghost of Christmas visited him.In the end he became a changed man and very nice to people.The literature stated that he died a day after Christmas with unknown year.
Why?.
The “why” is because it was one of the first novel that I read in elementary school.
The story was very captivating for my young mind then.I kept reading the novel to find out why he hated christmas and why was he so stingy.
I loved the novel so much.
Is christmas a humbug?.

Scrooge… I don’t know… that’s a whole LOT of misery and suffering, and missing out on the love of your life just for a nice payoff at the end…

😆🤣🤣🤣🤣 I read this book over 40years ago .It was also dramatized in our classroom.It never left my memory.How can someboday hate Christmas and hated people? .Anyway it was a fiction.I wish that I could write like them..Do you remember Charles Dicken’s novel?.Thanks for visitng.I really appreciate it.

You have to recall the flashback scenes with the ghost of Christmas past… Being all but abandoned by his parents as soon as they could apprentice him off, working so hard to impress that he lost out on Belle… He lashed out because he was hurting to the point of being broken. Christmas was especially painful because that’s when she broke off the courtship with him.
