The important factor in nursing structure and organization is decentralization. And I hope to be part of the changes .Instead of decision making authority remaining in the hands of few professionals .Nursing decisions should be made by those who will be mostly affected and these are nurses.

This means that all nursing professionals should be encouraged to use their talents fully in all capacity. That is understanding their roles very well and taking responsibilies as nurses.

The importance of decentralization cannot be overemphasized. Decentralizations brings in empowerment for nurses ,this will allow them to exercise good judgements in carrying out their duties as nurses.

In ten years I am hoping to be part of these changes in nursing profession.I hope to be a director of nursing in acute hospital or Skilled nursing facility or a director of nursing education in college.

Conclusively,I hope to be part of the changes in nursing profession.And I intend to be in this position for a long time.
