I have never had a broken bone but my father had a broken bone due to fall at the age of 92years old.He had acetabular fracture.

Hip replacement was done.After the surgical intervention immobility became a serious problem even with a front wheel walker.So he developed pneumonia.Development of pneumonia can be very hard on older adults.
