MY JOB AS INSULIN.

To help the body use glucose for energy.

Glucose is at the gate.

I am the door man to your cell.

So when glucose walk to my doorstep.

I will push it inside the cell.

What did you say.

I said I move the glucose inside your cell.

I like move,I don’t like push.

Are you talking about jail cell.

No I mean body cell.

So work effectively.

Is the body resisting insulin.

Resistance can lead to heart disease and type 2.

If your body is, I cannot do my job.

Glucose has arrived at the gate.

How can I open the cell.

I cannot do my job.

What gate.

Okay pancreas you made extra insulin.

The entrance gate.

Extra insulin can help initially that is it.

But I still can’t deliver because of resistance.

So glucose remains in the blood.

Blood sugar is high, insulin resistance.

Call my mom.

Call my dad.

No need to do all of that.

Be physically active.

Walking is good, walk it.

Loose weight.

Eat balanced meals three times a day.

Watch your blood pressure.

Watch your cholesterol.

I am insulin.

I want glucose to enter your cell.

Where it is used for energy.

I am insulin.

And I love my job.
