The word motivates is very famous, well known and it is frequently used word to encourage and inspire people .It is generally accepted across the globe in various cultures and spoken in English language and different dialect Japanese, Spanish ,Chinese etc.

My major driving force that is what pushes me,inspired me or motivates me is my strong desire to be successful. All efforts were made for me to be successful but often hit or dragged back due to family issues or health problems. My desire is to be very successful but unfortunately didn’t reach my targeted goals. I am still keeping my options open for a better tomorrow.

Environmental factors:Sometimes the environment that we found ourselves in can create a positive or negative impact on us. Most children that grow up in drug invested areas with poor parenting ended up dropping out of schools to join gangs.Some succeeded, so many did not succeed and many of them are dead long time ago.
Family Factors: When I was growing up, on one early morning my father placed a sign on my bed that reads ” Everyone is the carver or maker of his or her own fortune “.Initially I did not know the meaning so later I went for clarification. He said to me to be successful you must work very hard,plan and set goals for yourself. I kept that talk in my heart . I looked at him for assessment without him knowing .He was definitely hardworking and very happy. Also my mother was hardworking. It was like hardwork is embedded in them.When I demanded to have a day off to rest.She told me that there is plenty of rest when we are dead.And I had an older brother his name was Dennis.He was very hardworking too and successful. He was the best student in his class.He had Distinction in high school and in the university. He later did his masters degree in Columbia University in early 1970s. He was the person that actually motivated me.So I wanted to be like him. He worked in a bank and later started his own Merchant bank. My late senior brother inspired me so much.
Peer Pressure: Peer pressure tend to affect kids and deny them of being motivated. They will choose to steal,smoke,do drugs and drink alcohol instead of having good grades in school. I was not privileged to do any of that. I started helping my mother in her business at the age of nine years. Everyone around me are doing well. I was motivated to be like them.I must not be different.

Poverty:Some families could not afford to educate their children. Some of these kids were motivated to be successful but lacks financial support. I was very lucky that my parents were up and doing and paid my school fees,school supplies including school uniforms. I lack nothing when I was growing up . My father never mind his business. He was in my business 24/7 until I got married.
Scholarship: There are families that are very poor. Federal government or helpers should please lift up one person in that poverty striken family ,so that they can help other family members. You can be highly motivated to make it but if you have no support whatsoever you cannot succeed.

In conclusion, I would say that the spirit of motivation was cultivated in me when I was very young.My senior brother inspired me so much. He told me that it is too crowded at the bottom. And that I must do my best to get to the top, that the top is less crowded. I believe that very strongly. I focused and admire successful people. I admire president Joe Biden for working relentlessly even at this age.It is unbelievable. I admire my director at work, I wanted to be like her .I admire former president Obama, president Trump for his physical strengths, Kobe Byrant,Lebrown James,Serena Williams and her husband, Simone Bile,Oprah Winfrey , nurse Chioma and so many other people. I love the spirit of not giving up but keep on moving on, and motivating other people. I liked this song when I was in elementary school and still do.
