As I sat down to brain storm about my favorite family traditions the wind came.I looked left and I looked right to see if anyone is around but there is nobody. The house is as quiet as a mouse you could hear a pin drop.So I sat quietly and let it blow-off , small sounds and the rest was air ,no smell. I felt relieved and returned back to my thinking desk.
My favorite family traditions are the Thanksgiving holiday and the Christmas celebration. Thanksgiving is opportunity to express our gratitude to God and Christmas is time to remember the birth of Jesus Christ the son of God.
These two holidays are when we gather together to enjoy ourselves eat drink and thank God for his kindness and mercies.
During the Thanksgiving family gathered together to show gratitude and enjoy each other’s company. The victim every year is the turkey poor guy.We feel sorry for it and we ended up baking it in the oven for four hours and ate it with mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, pie, vegetables, beans, salad ,apple cider drinks, orange juice and wine.
We finished our meal and sat down to watch sports together and movies. Ten minutes after we have settled down I could hear a snoring sound. Who could be snoring ?. I started wondering who could that be?.I called my husband he answered hmmmm. He was the one.
The Christmas celebration is more exciting for me.We ate ,drank, make merry, watched the Rose Parade. Watching the parade is usually very interesting. On the 24th of every December a day before Christmas is the day that we exchange our Christmas gifts each year.

Great traditions. We watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade every year, it’s very entertaining. Nice post. 👏
