Write about a few of your favorite family traditions. #Dailywritingprompt.

As I satdownto brain storm about my favorite family traditions the wind came.I looked left and I looked right to see if anyoneisaroundbut thereisnobody. The house is as quiet as a mouse you could hear a pin drop. So I sat quietly and let it blow-off , small sounds and the rest was air ,no smell. I felt relieved and returned back to my thinking desk.

My favorite family traditions are the Thanksgiving holiday and the Christmas celebration. Thanksgivingisopportunityto expressourgratitudetoGod and Christmas is time to remember the birth of Jesus Christ theson of God.

These two holidays are when we gather together to enjoy ourselves eat drink and thank God for his kindness and mercies.

During the Thanksgiving family gathered together to showgratitudeand enjoy each other’scompany. The victim every year isthe turkey poor guy.We feel sorry for it and we ended up baking it in the oven for four hours and ate it with mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, pie, vegetables, beans, salad ,apple cider drinks, orange juice and wine.

Wefinishedour mealandsatdownto watch sports together and movies.Ten minutesafter we have settled downI couldheara snoringsound. Who couldbesnoring ?. I started wonderingwho could that be?.I calledmy husbandhe answered hmmmm. He was the one.

The Christmas celebration is more exciting for me.Weate ,drank, make merry, watched theRose Parade. Watching the parade is usually very interesting. On the 24th of every December a day before Christmas is  the day  that we exchange our Christmas gifts each year.
