Myself and my first Computer.
An electronic device use for storing and processing data is known as Computer. This is according to the information given to it in various programs.
My first computer was like a nagging husband who has been abused by so many people and now relegated to the background and unlucky woman picked him up and that became her cross.
I got a used computer from a garage sale. The owner told me that he wanted to sell it so that he can get a new high speed modern device. And I wanted to buy it because I needed a computer. So I got it at a low price.
It was old I cleaned it up really good ready to enjoy my device. But the truth remains that you can differentiate between a smooth young face and an old sagging face no matter the amount of makeup.Yes with all the cleaning that I did you can easily find out that it has been abused for a long, long time.It has scratches everywhere.
Anyway initially it was working well but very slow.I was grateful that I had a computer even though it was a lot of work to get it .It would stop at the middle of my assignment then I would go to the library to use their computer.
Finally the key board stopped working I got a new keyboard and the mouse. Then the computer stopped working and I took it to be repaired. The computer repairer kept it in his apartment for twelve days. I had no choice than to use the library computer until I got it back.I found my love(my computer)hoping that it would help me with my assignment but my love has headache and body aches.
So I decided to get brothers type-writer.The type- writer was cheaper than buying a new computer. I used the type- writer to type up my assignment since my computer had lots of problems.
Conclusively when my computer stopped working I felt like a natural disaster had hit me with turbulent tornadoes because it happened on a weekend and I have assignment that needed to be submitted on Tuesday morning at 10am.
Lessons learned!!!.
1. I learnt that you got what you paid for.
2.Stress: I got a cheaper computer but the stress was more than the price of a new computer. .
3.Made my learning needs top priority.
4.Balance my budget and save for a new computer.
5.Implement solutions such as drink cheaper McDonald coffee instead of expensive Starbucks coffee .
6.Formed the habit of saving money and continued to do so.
This is the summary of my first computer.
