Homeless means not to have a place of your own. So how do you help someone that has no physical address?.
The Solutions will be.
1.Constant Information Flow: Information about help for homeless people should be repeated constantly. There must be optimal flow of standard honest information to these population. To be successful homeless population need appropriate amount of constant information broken down in the level that they will comprehend. When situation is uncertain there should be increase in information to grab.
2.Responsibilities of the homeless population:Their Responsibilities should be clearly stated,uplifting and standardized. Expansion of information remain important when dealing with uncertainty.
3. Leadership : There should be leaders who are agent of change and these leaders will cause other individuals to change behavior. So when a homeless person does any task and complete it, he or she get rewarded. It can be simple gifts as more soap , perfumes or good shoes.
4.Task force groups: Some of the people in the group can be assigned to do a special task for a specific project. Encouraging learning new skills and interpersonal skills.
5. Integration into the Society:How do the government integrate the group into the society. The integration for some will be slow and some will be fast.It all depends on the physical, psychological and emotional state of mind of each individual. Some might need psychological counseling. Requirements for successful integration will involve cooperation, intergroup performance and the relationship among the groups. Provide opportunities for performance and encourage High Performance and Reward good performance.
6.Health Services:Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Health services should be provided in their place of residence for the purpose of promoting, maintaining health and minimizing the effects of illness and disability. They should be provided with medical care, dental,social services and physical therapy.
7.Housing: There should be low cost housing for low income families. There should be rent control by the government to prevent these greedy landlords from exploiting the poor. Nobody ever said,” I want to be homeless when I grow up “.There should be no DISCRIMINATION against people of color on housing should stop. When you have no place to live. Guess what you become homeless. Looking for a place to rent with limited resources can be draining. Some people have opportunity and some do not. Some people will stay in a job for over fifty years blocking the chance for others.Some were born with silver spoons in their mouth. So many never saw silver spoons.
8.FOOD PANTRIES:Provide and make food pantries accessible for homeless families. There should be food consisting of protein, fats, carbohydrates and supplemented vitamins.
9.Employment: Encourage and provide employment opportunities for homeless families. Offer incentives to companies that hire homeless people to work for them.Discrimination against homeless people should be strictly forbidden. Couples should not be allowed to work in the same company together. Stop the degradation, support, motivate.Encourage homeless people to be the Carver or maker of their own fortune.
10.Education: An idle mind is a devil workshop. Communication and teaching of new skills is very important. Encourage companies to donate laptops to homeless families. Encourage independence. Also educate them on the side effects of smoking, alcoholism and drugs. Allow them to participate in interesting events and not frustrating events that will discourage them.If they get comfortable and specialize,they want to do more.
