Copy information in a computer and tranfer it into an open space. What happen if the data that you have copied is wrong?.Do you just transfer it without making changes?.Or you just copied anyway?.The left breast instead of the right breast, the penis instead of the scrotum or testicle, the left eye 👁instead of the right eye,the right ear instead of the left ear.If you see something say something and go extra mile to fix it . Don’t form a gang to suppress a problem that needs simple solution.

Copy and paste is the fastest way of documentation but it can be very dangerous to healthcare and can lead to human casualties. For example a lady came in to Orthopedic clinic and complained of right knee pain and swelling. But the secretary documented left knee the next nurse came in copied and pasted left knee even though the doctor had treated right knee for several months. Six months later the patient called for follow-up up appointment. The clinic still have left knee documented. The right ankle was amputated instead of the left ankle. How do you replace amputated ankle?.Think about it.

BRAIN: Can the brain 🧠be allowed to think and fix minor corrections?.If you are not the problem and I am not the problem then is the system the problem?. See something say something and do something.

Credit Reporters :Experian, Equifax and Transunion all copy and paste. Keeping your credit score low .Attempt to fix it is a waste of your time because they will not fix it.They are so interwoven with copy and paste. But don’t worry about it go to your bank or credit union and apply for what you need as long as you have a job,and pay your bills on time. Sometimes it is good to make corrections. Can you imagine transfusion of the wrong PRBC because wrong information was copied and paste. Copy and Paste has its advantages but when done wrongly and nobody is willing to stand up and make corrections can be detrimental. Doctor office copy and paste, clinic copy and paste, Riteaid copy and paste, everywhere you go Copy and Paste. An innocent person can lose their freedom because of copy and Paste errors. =copy and paste.
